Five Ways Chapel

Five Ways Methodist Church, Ruiton Street, Lower Gornal.Photo CDM 2014

Five Ways Methodist Church, Ruiton Street.

A 'New Connexion' Methodist chapel, built in 1841. Some of the building predates this and is said to have been an old barn, possibly the original meeting place.

The Primitive Methodist Chapel was registered for solemnizing marriages on 5th February 1921.

The Church closed in 2026 and is currently up for sale, with potential demolition and redevelopment of the site likely.
