OLD MAP OF GORNAL (and else where).
External link to a highly detailed and interactive Ordnance Survey Map c1900 based on the 25" series, provided by National Library of Scotland, real credit to them.
It includes modern aerial view overlay with variable transparency, can be moved and zoomed.
The view is already set to 1900 Gornal Wood.
This really is the BEST old map of the area available online with a really slick interface.
Thank you NLS.
BUT..."dow ferget t' cum back 'ere".
