Lower Gornal Youth Centre

Work started on a new purpose built youth centre off Church Street in 1973 and was completed in 1974.
The Council funded youth club opened late 1974 or early 1975.
A year later a fire, thought to be arson, gutted the building.
The Youth Club survives to date.
